The wider seating area is further back on this model also for the taller rider. The added width and foam density will help keep the seat from being an item to stop you from going on that ride or enjoying the bike.
The use of this seat on a 2008-2011 model will RAISE the seat about 10mm. 9" at the widest point of the seat.

Ktm 690 seatBy: Luke Wotton on 15 January 2018Its much wider then the stock and the top is much better as you dont tend to slip off like the factory one slip off. It's only slightly better for comfort. Bit needs to be worn in
