Wolfman Luggage Expedition Dry Saddle Bags are designed to be durable and 100% waterproof for the most adventurous and aggressive riders around.
Wolfman designed these bags to be durable and 100% waterproof for the most adventurous and aggressive riders around.
We started with burly 22 ounce and 34 ounce vinyl, and used cutting edge Radio Frequency technology for completely sealed seams.
Next, we developed an ultra-stable mounting system.
These sturdy bags attach to our proprietary Wolfman Side Racks with what is possibly the easiest mounting system available.
These Saddle Bags have two straps over the seat and each bag attaches to the Wolfman Side Rack with 4 points for maximum hold.
The mounting straps double as compression straps to keep the load attached and tight.
During testing we saw that once the bags were attached to the racks, they were attached so securely that we could have dragged the bike by the bags.
Our mission was to create a functional, sturdy and quick release Saddle bag system that will act as one with bike and rider. No loose moving bags here!
We use an internal Butterfly stiffener, stiff back, bottom and front, which helps the bag retain shape and allows the load to be compressed tightly.
A replaceable (!) non-skid rubber pad (made from recycled tires - how cool is that?) on the bike-side of the bag prevents excessive bag movement and protects the bag from vibration abrasion.
Saddle bags are sold as a pair. Wolf Side Racks sold separately.

About Wolfman Luggage:
WOLFMAN LUGGAGE is the brand that started it all for Adventure Moto. When I first started looking at gear for myself to ride the adventures I dreamed of riding. I did not want to ride with hard luggage. I knew that the style of riding I wanted to do would either end up with me under the bike or the bike sliding down some rocky trail. So I searched until I found Wolfman Luggage which has been supplying soft luggage solutions to adventure riders for over twenty years. Eric Hougen the founder, owner and head designer for the Wolfman Luggage brand is an avid rider and understands better than anyone the level of toughness and quality needed to survive the rigours of the Off Road. Wolfman Luggage is still made in the USA and the best-selling Expedition Dry Saddlebags and Duffels are on thousands of bikes around Australia. We have customers that have been riding with Wolfman gear on their bikes for over ten years.
Wolfy Exped Dry Go the DistanceBy: Tim Standen on 22 July 2018These are fabulous bags. Waterproof, dust proof and if you pack right, you can carry a load of stuff. I've had mine for over 6 years and over 20,000 km travelled in all conditions and they've never let me down. Their structural integrity is still as new and the straps and fittings are still in perfect condition. I've ridden through watery Armageddon without a drop of water getting in. I chose the yellow bags, and probably more by good luck than management, that colour makes it very easy to see inside the bags when ferreting around. I did buy the Wolfy side racks for my bike and the bags fit perfectly as advertised. I will say that the myriad of straps and buckles while making for an exceptionally secure and stable load and simple on-off, is a bit fiddely......no big deal. If you're after more than about 18litre capacity per side, I'd say go the Rocky Mountain saddle bags. these are not the cheapest bags, but you get what you pay for. These are outstanding quality that work as described and won't let you down.
long lasting and toughBy: bernadette on 3 July 2018I ride a Suzuki DRZ400E and Ive used my expedition saddle bags for just on eight years on many outback roads, through rain and creek crossings. They are extremely tough and will take a lot of hard knocks (when Ive dropped my bike and when travelling through scrubby areas). They have a bit of wear in some places but they have been easy to patch with the right materials. I fully intend to be using these bags until they literally fall apart. I can pack all I need for extended trips in the bags and they are very easy to secure to the bike and snug down very tight with the straps that are sewn onto the bags. I have no issues with heat from the exhaust affecting the bags. None of the buckles or clips have broken. I tend to use inner dry liners as the bags are not fully waterproof (as to be expected) when I have dropped the bike in creeks.
Easy to live withBy: MM on 12 February 2018A fantastic set of bags that were as easy to live with as a pair of hard luggage. Highly recommend for those wishing to travel without the weight of hard luggage. Washed them after 10 days in the outback and came up almost like new again.
Designed by riders for riders.By: Tim O'Dwyer on 2 April 2017Made from the best materials available for the purpose, these bags are without compromise. Their quality and functionality show that they are clearly designed by riders for riders in the real world. When the reliability of your gear can make or break a trip, why settle for anything but the best? These bags will not disappoint.
