About Forma Boots:
Forma Boots are proven to be tough and durable for off-road adventure riding, at the same time super comfortable for long distance road riding.
Finally a product that does what its soposed tooBy: Matthew Mountford on 17 January 2018After hours of research, countless you tube videos and ignoring the wife while she apparentlty had all these urgent things to do, i finally made up my mind and purchased the Forma Terra boots. Turns out the hardest part about the whole thing was choosing the colour! Second too getting back into the good books anyway. Waisting no time at all chucked them on, adjusting the straps was a sinch, so i set off around the house in them earning back my man points i lost while procrastinating looking at adventure boots. Living in bathurst theres tonnes of proper adventure riding roads on and off close by, so i suited up and off i went. You can tell with the Forma Terra boots they are much stiffer then a good lace up work boot or hiking boot, but less rigid then a good full blown mc boot, which was exactly what i was after! The sole is fairly thick which is great on my ktm1190r as im under 6ft and it has a nose bleed seat hight. After about 100 kms of dirt i was expexting to start getting sore feet and calves from all the standing up, but the Terras offered more then enough support to help prevent that from happening. Theres enough flex and feel through the toe caps to feel the controlls easily, i didn't need to even try adjusting the gear and brake lever hights. One of the best things with the Forma Terras is the extra protection they offer around the heel, ankle and shin, which is great for any rider thats feeling spicy and getting into the rough stuff out there having an actuall go. The buckles lock in nice, flush and tight so theres almost no chance of them popping out or getting snagged. Walking in them is a breaze also, i was a little worried at first about that, especially being in them all day on and off the bike, put it this way, i wouldnt do a 30km hike in them but who likes to walk anyway. Especially if you can just ride! The add on toe caps are a great idea and the full water proof liner breathes well in the heat too. You can tell Forma have put tonnes of thought into the Terra boots, the construction and quality is A1, plenty of protrction without compromising comfort. Great proce too so getting approval from the minister of war and finance was alright, only cost me several back rubs. Turns out the wife wants a pair now too! To sum it up, awesome boot, great protection along side heaps of comfort, well constructed and designed and in a food price bracket for what they offer. Well done Forma! Matt happy :)
Portection in comfortBy: Benny Djie on 15 December 2016I absolutely love these boots! I can literately walk around comfortably in these boots, and height provides rigght protections. It gives a proper grip on a wet and muddy surface. Highly recommended for off road and bang for the buck.
