Drifter - Great Versatile JacketBy: Damo Peel on 17 January 2018I purchased a Drifter jacket from the team well over 12months ago. It is regularly used for the daily commute to work in Sydney and has been taken on a number of multi day tours. One along the great ocean road and Grampians. The magnetic closures are so effective and easy to use. Zip tags on pockets are very small but easily fixed with some string or cord. Thin fleece underneath was perfect for commuting in Sydney during winter. Seems to cope with small showers but I always have a proper waterproof shell to put over the top when the storms hit. I even had reason to use/test the protection after a small get off late one night on my way home from work. The protection (D30) worked perfectly as expected and canvas on the jacket itself survived intact. Easily a 4.5 star jacket. would be perfect if waterproof but then cost would obviously be much higher.
