Klim Induction Jacket Hi-VisBy: Eleanor McDonald on 2 December 2019I originally was aiming to purchase a cheaper jacket by another manufacturer but glad I paid the extra dollars for this product. I was looking for a breathable light weight jacket for warm weather primarily road based riding. The fit and finish of this jacket, quality and D30 armour sold me. I rode home from the store in 38.5C and found the air flow excellent and comfort exceeded my expectation. I have placed an order for a Klim wind liner / waterproof jacket for when the temperature drops and I would imagine that you can probably use this jacket in Oz for 3 seasons quite comfortably. I cannot give this jacket no less than 5 stars.
Great Summer JacketBy: David Corson on 23 July 2019Not only is the jacket comfortable and functional, it provides the protection I need without raising a sweat. The ladies at AdventureMoto were super helpful to adjust my order when I discovered I had ordered the wrong size!
Ripper jacketBy: hugh hawkins on 6 July 2019Bought this jacket for summer last November & paired it with a technical riding top, it is so cool on the hottest of days, yes I feel the heat but do not sweat. Added the Zephyr Wind shirt and it adds a water proof layer for those summer showers or those winter days that start off cool but warm up later on helps extend the time I can use this jacket.
Great summer jacketBy: Darren on 27 January 2019I have had this Jacket since 2014. Rode to Uluru (Ayers Rock) from Sydney and it was perfect. Currently being used in Qld heat and still loving it. The only complaints I have are, fit (Black jackets were physically smaller than the white despite the same size tags) and liner is quite thin although it is perfect for afternoon summer showers.
Klim is coolBy: Jeff on 26 January 2019I live in FNQ and this jacket is fantastic. I've had one off wearing it whilst out adventure riding and it protected my elbow and shoulder very well with the D30 padding. The jacket shows no signs of the impact. I don't find the issue that other people have with the padding being in the wrong spot on the elbow as when your arm is flexed in the riding position it sits beautifully. Is it cool? I think that for the protection that a jacket must give and the huge panels of induction mesh it does a fantastic job. I still sweat a fair bit when working hard with a 3l Camelbak on but cool down just as quickly and I think thats where the difference lies. I didn't want to wear body armour and a jersey as I wanted to be able to get where I was riding to and just take the jacket off. It washes easily and the padding is simple to remove. As far as an adventure jacket for riding in FNQ I think it's hard to go past. Klim gear from what I have experienced is just built well.
