Mounting the rack itself is not a difficult procedure. This rack kit is all bolt on. No modifications to the bike are necessary for mounting. Clear and concise instructions are included. Stainless mounting hardware and powder coated steel side brackets compliment the tough anodized rack for a long lasting good looking kit.

Great looking & strong

Have one fitted to the DR and it works as well as it looks. Neat, functional and plenty of tie-down points. It's rock solid and good enough to keep on the bike when not on a tour. And I've even mounted some mini indicators inboard from underneath the rack for a tidy look using existing holes in the top plate where the indicators won't get torn off. That's a win.
