The RAM-B-201-C, long double socket arm, has a socket at both ends that accommodates 1" ball bases.

A single spring inside the arm opens the end sockets, allowing you to pivot the ball and socket connection. This socket technology allows for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.

Essential part of the DoubleTake mirror Kit

Just bought the full kit that included these (2 x mirrors + 2 x 6 inch RAM socket arms + 2 x RAM M10 mounts.) The sole purpose was to ensure I still had mirrors after I (inevitably) drop my girl. The system is perfect. The adjustability of the mirrors is orders of magnitude better than the standard. The actual mirror surface is slightly more convex than the OEM and gives a wider field of view without noticeable distortion. I'd say they are an improvement on the originals. Very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend to anyone with an adventure / dual-sport bike.
